We are amazed that Xpro is still riding upper freeze and has touched 67 mark and I am protecting my profit with a stop loss by placing it just 5 paisa below the freeze. ONGC gave a profit of Rs 25, Ashok Leyland gave a profit of rs 1/-, Neyveli lignite gave a profit of Rs 7.85/- and ranbaxy gave a profit of Rs 4.3/-,RNRL gave huge Rs.18 as we said for every share bought.

Stock market trend: Market is riding high on a few stocks and is a warning signal. Watch Nifty 6000-5914 and Sensex breaking 20000-19749. It appears software stocks are ready for a bounce back.

Stock Market day Diary:The Asian markets closed in the negative today. The Indian market had a choppy session but was able to close in the positive. Sensex closed at 20873 up 60 points and Nifty closed at 6287 up 8 points from the previous close. The CNX Midcaps Index was down 2.8% and BSE Smallcaps Index was down 3.2%. Almost all sectoral indices closed in the negative today except BSE IT Index that closed up 1.1% The market breadth was negative with advances at 155 against declines of 1081 on the NSE.Top Nifty gainers included Suzlon, Bharti Airtel,Satyam, Infosys and HDFC Bank while losers included BPCL, Tata Steel, Cairn, Sterlite and SAIL.
